Handshake America focuses on GRIT, TEAMWORK, COACHING, and FUN—and you can count on seeing all of these in action at our upcoming Pickleball & 5Ps Party!
Never played pickleball? No worries!
Skills and equipment are optional, but be sure to bring your GRIT and a positive attitude!
Participants will be placed on one of two teams, and we’ll kick things off with a quick coaching session on pickleball basics before moving into our friendly competition.

All pickleball players must submit the waiver below and have appropriate footwear (sneakers/running shoes OK. No sandals, dress shoes, boots, bare feet, etc.)

METRO ATLANTA HISTORY
Handshake America has been partnering with Atlanta area high schools for the past 7 years identifying coachable and gritty student-athletes to participate in our Five Practices of Success (5Ps) Coaching & Scholarship program.
Volunteers from diverse businesses and industries help these student-athletes develop a mental framework for success in life and coach them to embody our 5Ps - Perseverance, Passion, Positivity, People, and Presence.
Since 2017, we have graduated 80 Metro Atlanta student-athletes and awarded $86,000 in postsecondary scholarships. Your support enables us to continue expanding our reach and impact throughout Atlanta!
